Long term user of these tubes, which I prefer because of the removeable cores. Fitting Vittoria valve extenders is easy and leak proof. No need for plumbers tape. Quick and easy. I ride them with Vittoria Pave or Corsa 25mm tyres. The combo of latex and cotton side walls is sublime. At 80kg, I can comfortably keep psi at 75 front, 85 rear without issues. The cotton walls mean I can fit by hand without levers, across different rim brands. Which is reassuring when fitting latex tubes. A coating of talc helps them mount to new tyres without pinching the latex. Despite the reputation for frailty, I have found the complete opposite and rode these tubes for years without tears or blow outs. I've ridden them with carbon rim brake wheels and alloy rim brake wheels on all sorts of UK roads and Spanish roads in high heat and on long descents. Never had an issue at all. If you look after these tubes, they are long lasting and give a nice rolling ride that absorbs road imperfections without beating you up. Contrary to reports, if they do puncture, they repair easily with patches and rubber cement, just like butyl. I've found them to be more robust than other brands of latex tubes on the market . I carry butyl tubes on a ride in the event of a puncture (rare) as they are thicker and more robust to mount on the roadside with cold wet or grubby hands. then I just patch the latex when I get home.

Always run latex tubes and Vittoria ones. These go in well, dust with a little talc and they don't give any problems.
