I bought these for my new Cannondale Supersix Evo as I wanted wider tyres to run at a lower pressure. I also liked the tan sidewalls as they look great, no punctures so far so all good. They were difficult to fit to my Hollowgram rims, I haven’t set them up tubeless so I could have used tyre levers if I had gone tubeless. A very comfy ride at lower pressure as the sidewalls are very supple.

These 42mm Corsa Pro Control tyres are a true big road tyre option, delivering high level of comfort with no real downsides, including speed and efficiency. In particular, with the poor condition of tarmac and chipseal roads in the UK these really are a viable alternative to 28/30c tyres, if your bike can fit them, or unless you are looking to do outright racing. For reference, these 42mm labelled tyres are a very similar width and height to Schwalbe G-one RS Pro in 40mm, run as fast, have a more rounded profile and feel a bit more supple.
