After wasting a lot of time and money on other well known brands, finally tried the Bontrager, and the trial and error is over. This Aeolus Elite is absolutely superb (for me) You know you have found the right saddle, when you no longer give it a second thought whilst out on a ride. The feel of the wide nose took a few rides to get used to, but it works superbly. Nice one Bontrager. Sigma were as reliable as always too.

Bought two of these Aeolus Elite saddles in Black Friday sale – both arrived fine, but immediately queried the lack of an austenite rail (both saddles had what looked like a lower spec heavier black steel rail as per Comp variant). Customer services agreed that there appeared to be an issue with assembly and I was asked to return under warranty. Rather than being treated as a warranty return and replaced, I was refunded and requested to re-order – sale now elapsed and saddles back to full price. Items were in stock and continued to be sold during this period. Raised this issue with customer services and asked how it could be resolved but no response. Gave up.
