The C60 is one of the most highly anticipated framesets of the last few years and follows on from the C59. Lighter, stiffer and more comfortable, the Colnago C60 Italia Dual Routed Frameset (High Geometry) also features 'high geometry'; a taller headtube that gives a slightly more relaxed geometry without the need for extra spacers. This dual use version is compatible with both mechanical and electronics systems.

This is a bike that is just as comfortable in the peloton as it is for long days on the open road. The bottom bracket lugs have been beefed up and the wider bottom bracket housing uses thinner carbon layers to reduce the weight, made possible by the star-shaped tubing inserts that improve the distribution of stress. Colnago's Threadfit 82.5 system combines the reliability of BSA with the stiffness of Pressfit and has easily replaceable threaded sleeves.

The front triangle has exceptional lateral stiffness with the whole length of the head tube being star shaped with no round cross sections where they meet the lugs. Forces are distributed more evenly so the vibrations from rough roads have less impact on the rider.

The chainstays and seatstays have been designed to improve comfort so you fatigue less rapidly, especially on hard terrain, thus keeping you performing at your peak for longer. The chainstays are internally ribbed for improved compliance and stiffness and the seatstays are tapered, with a conical shape and reduced wall thickness.

The dropouts are forged from aluminium for strength and reliability and in the event of a crash or damage, the easily replaceable derailleur hanger is more likely to break than the dropouts themselves.
