came within a couple days I was kept updated about when it was going to be delivered. As for the watch it was a gift for my wife. She loves it she dose gravel events as well as triathlons. She is in training at present. Very easy to connect she loves all of it and says it does what it says it will and highly recommend it
I did a lot of research as it was going to be my first fitness watch since the Polar RCX5 a long time back. I settled on the Epix Pro Gen 2 Sapphire in 47mm. When it arrived I was very impressed but it did feel a little smaller than anticipated on my wrist. One of my main uses was to be the mapping for Navigation, so I decided that the screen size needed to be a little bigger. I also felt that the 22mm silicone strap was a little too narrow for the weight of the watch which made it feel a bit unbalanced and a bit tricky to get comfortable. So I returned it and ordered the 51mm. The 51mm size with 26mm strap was just right. The wider strap reduces the pressure felt on your wrist and feels more proportionate with the diameter of the watch. My wrist is 7 1/2 inches round so not the biggest, but I feel that it fits fine. The set-up is quick and easy - i already had the Garmin Connect App on my phone which sped things up even more. There are a lot of features on board this watch and it will take new Garmin users time to work through them, but the menu system is really intuitive and easy to use. There are lots of excellent tutorials on the web - particulary by DC Rainmaker. The screen is touch-screen and menus can be easily navigated this way or by the five buttons around the case. Heart rate measurement is really accurate - I compared it against two HRM straps going to my bike computer and it was usually 1 BPM different at the most. The AMOLED display is the stand-out feature for this watch - it's bright and vibrant - just beautiful. I'm getting about 29 days battery life with best GPS Mode enabled and screen set to wrist gesture. You could get more with Battery Saver mode and a less optimum GPS mode selected. The watch is rugged and the Sapphire model has a titanium case and back with a bomb-proof Sapphire glass screen. I can't really review all the features it has as I am still learning about them, after only a month of ownership. These are expensive watches, but I think that the Epix Pro Gen 2 is an excellent watch and you can save a good bit of money buying one over the latest Fenix for pretty much the same watch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this watch or Sigma for their usual excellent customer service!
