I have had my Allez Sport since Xmas 2023. Prior to that I had an entry level carbon rim brake Giant TCR which I loved but the frame cracked in an accident . First impressions were that the Spesh is really comfortable, I think this was due to the higher front stack and much wider tires (30mm vs 25mm on the Giant). The saddle worked for me as well. Downsides were that it was heavier vs my Giant, but that was expected due to the aluminium frame and basic stock wheels. I bought the bike in black but I actually would prefer the red if they did it in Tiagra groupset version (they only do red for Sora). But the paintwork is decent. I’ve switched out the original wheels to some Hunt 4 Seasons and tubeless Continental GP5000 tires. This made about 1kg weight saving and comfort even better. Now my total bike weight for a 61cm frame is 9.5kg including pedals, mounts etc. that compares to 9.0kg for my carbon frame Giant TCR in size XL, so not too bad. The Tiagra disc brakes are excellent in my opinion, a huge upgrade from the rim brakes on my my previous bike. I’ve done loads of riding on this bike and will be keeping it for a while I think. I’ve got a set of winter wheels with gravel Cinturato 35mm tires which I can easily switch in when the weather is grim. Overall - a great all rounder bike for the money and very upgradable. This current version of 10speed Tiagra is similar to mechanical 105 of just a few years ago

Specialized Allez Disc Sport Road Bike 2025
Four decades after the release of the original Allez, this model, which has been in continuous production over the years, is now lighter, more versatile, and available with disc brakes. The Specialized Allez Disc Sport Road Bike is sure to get more riders hooked to cycling, with its comfortable and confidence-inspiring Endurance Road geometry, reliable mix of components, wide tyre clearances and the practical addition of mudguard and rack mounts.
Specialized Allez E5 Sport Frame
Be it for commuting, joining the club ride or for solo explorations, the pairing of an alloy E5 frame with a full carbon fork creates an excellent stiffness to weight ratio, and provides a smooth ride while keeping weight to a minimum and durability to a maximum.
Specialized Allez Sport Components
Shimano Tiagra components make shifting smooth, with 50-34t up front and a wide-ranging 11-32t cassette to the back giving a good range for tackling those steep climbs and taking advantage of faster sections. Hydraulic disc brakes are key to confidence at speed, ensuring you can stop fast when required, in all conditions.
With wider tyres and tubeless-ready wheels, you can take advantage of lower air pressures, further smoothing out rough, potholed roads.

A good price for a great bike. I'm really glad I went for the hydraulics disc brake option.

About Specialized
Innovate or die.
Founded in California in 1974, Specialized began with a simple promise: serious riders deserve serious gear. Half a century later, the brand still funds its own wind tunnel, builds its own carbon, and tests every bike with the world's best so that you ride your own best.
The first production mountain bike. The first cycling-specific shoes. FACT carbon, the Win Tunnel, S-Works. Specialized has a habit of building the things the rest of cycling ends up copying.
