After damaging my last winter commuting helmet (lazer with aero shell) I was looking for another helmet with limited airflow. I had spotted this helmet and when it came in the sale I decided to give it a go. The helmet is comfortable and its rounder shape suits my slightly off centre oval head shape (a problem with the lazer) and the pads are good quality. The option to open the vent adds versatility for commuting at 5am and 6pm when the temp can be quite different and you are stuck with your choices from that morning. The only negative I can think of is mentioned in many reviews. The height adjustment on the harness doesn’t lock particularly well. I remedied this with a drop of super glue which has helped. This helmet has made my winter commute far more comfortable and I thoroughly recommend it for colder temperatures.

The size of the KASK helmet corresponds to the circumference of your head. Use a tape measure, positioning it just above the ears and keeping it horizontal; take note of the measurement in centimetres/inches.
Reviews
I had a bad crash and smashed up my previous Kask aero helmet with the sliding front vent flap (the name of which escapes me). That model is no longer available, now superseded by the Wasabi with the same front sliding vent flap. I assumed the fit would be the same so I ordered a Wasabi, again in Medium. Lovely helmet, nicer looking than my previous Kask, but disappointed to find that Kask appear to have changed their head-shape to rounder than before, and subsequently the helmet was pinching at the front, with space at the sides. I could have bought the next size up but then there'd have been even more of a gap at the sides. So sadly, I've had to return the helmet for refund. I've decided to try a Met Manta instead (similarly aero helmet albeit without the sliding vent, allegedly more oval in shape, awaiting stock), and Sigmasports kindly even did a price match for me so I could keep my custom with them. Gotta love Sigmasports' customer service!
