With the speed of the Cosmic Pro Carbon SL and the added performance benefits of disc brake compatibility, the Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon SL UST Disc Centre Lock Wheelset with give you confidence in corners and on speedy descents.
The new Road UST tubeless system is lightweight and offers added control and increased traction whilst reducing inertia and the risk of punctures. With the ability to run a tubeless system you can reduce tyre pressure for improved comfort, allowing you to ride faster for longer.
This wheelset has been adapted specifically for a disc brake set up and 24 spokes to both the front and rear wheel allow for optimal distribution of braking torque. Another benefit of more spokes is an increase in lateral stiffness and optimal power transfer, so all your power is going into your pedal stroke and no watts are lost.
These wheels have been designed for aerodynamic efficiency so you can reach your highest speeds, even in high winds. Drag is reduced by the 40mm NACA rim profile, and the 25mm external width allows the tyre to perfectly integrate; the wheel-tyre system handles supremely well regardless of the conditions. Aerodynamics are further increased by the elliptical spoke shape so you can cheat the wind and achieve your best times. Yksion Pro UST tyres are included and complement the wheels perfectly, with the 11 Storm compound for rolling efficiency and great traction.

Please note: The manufacturer does not recommend using latex inner tubes with carbon clincher wheels. Using latex tubes may void your warranty. This wheelset is shipped with 12 x 142mm thru-end caps as standard. In order to make it QR compatible, part numbers V25108 and V26803 are required as well as skewers M40351 and M40350.
