Michelin Pro 4 Road Clincher Tyre

The Pro 4 Road Clincher Tyre uses Michelin’s Bi-Compound technology to produce a tyre that has a rigid centre area for low rolling resistance and a softer compound on the shoulders of the tyre for greater cornering grip. In fact, Michelin claims that their Bi-Compound rubber gives 30% more grip on wet ground than their main competitor, making the Pro 4 their premium wet weather race clincher.

Grip and speed don’t come at the cost of reliability though, with HD technology providing excellent puncture resistance. Using high-density textile reinforcements in the centre section of the tyre provides protection against punctures whilst still keeping the low weight and low rolling resistance that is required in a competition tyre.
