Suspension on a gravel bike has always seemed like a step in the wrong direction in terms of efficiency, but I was finding on longer rides that my wrists were taking a pounding. This stem has massively increased my comfort, and I’ve not noticed any discernible difference to the handling on tarmac. The original version is probably a bit to heavy for consideration but this PRO version is probably the perfect compromise between weight and comfort. A bit on the expensive side but what value do you place on being able to extend your rides?

Easy to install, with straight forward instructions, this stem has already made a clear difference to my riding. Have been in Scotland now for about 3 weeks, riding the west coast & then down into the gravel tracks of the southern uplands. Coupled with the seatstem, I am noticing much less fatigue on longer rides, less numbness in my hands and less aches and pains in general. I found the seatpost instantly made a noticable difference, whereas the stems effect was more subtle: the longer you ride, the more apparent the benefits of this system are. The only problem now is that my other bikes dont feel as good anymore!
