I bought these mudguards (black) 6 weeks ago for the winter miles. I'm a one bike type of guy so I was interested in both functionality and looks (let's face it, no one wants their bike looking like a transformer) of a decent pair of mudguards. These came recommended from other members of my bike club so I gave them ago. Things to note: The installation instructions are true to their creators. Very simple and direct. The bridges over the plastic guards move so are full adjustable as are both sets of struts allowing you a precise fit to you wheels. I chose not to use the transparent (provided) frame protector patches as they were flagged as "permanent" in the instructions. Instead I've used the good old black electrical tape around the forks and stays which works a treat. No slippage. I've ridden a few hundred kms with them and I have no complaints. Easy to adjust on the fly. You can run them with both set or just the rear should you wish. The XL size ensures max coverage and protection to your down tube (front mudguard) and naturally as you'd expect, those behind you will thank you for running these instead of a shorter rear mudguard. Net net, if you are looking for a decent looking and performing set of mudguards you won't go far wrong with a pair of these!
