Mike,

Poor fit - Can only assume Scicon haven't seen an adult bike. Barely goes round the derailleur, doesn't fit over the chainring & doesn't cover the top of the chain at all. Genuinely not fit for purpose. Waste of money.

Q & A

3 questions answered

  1. Will this work with modern long cage rear mech.

    Asked by Robbo (Warwickshire)

This is a one-size fabric sleeve that slips over the chainring, chain and rear derailleur and fastens with hook-and-loop straps, so a modern long-cage rear mech sits inside it fine. It's there to keep drivetrain grease off your car or bag in transit, not to protect against impacts. Thanks

    Asked by Angelos (London)

    Asked by Helena (Crediton)

    1. Hello, I am afraid that this would not work without removing the wheel from the bike, and would likely to be too large for a folding bike. Many Thanks Liam
