I already had a standard size workshop torque wrench but wanted something lighter and easier to pack in my bike box for trips abroad. All the bolts I undo to fit my bike in it’s bike box are 5nm, so I just bought the single torque head version. Small , lightweight and very easy to use, very pleased with my purchase.

The bar itself does a good job, but two sizes is a bit limited. And the included box is anything but slim. Would get 4/5 stars if it has a slim tube for the extra bits. It actually weighs more than the ratchet rocket I have, so just doesn't make sense...that said the actual torq bit is a great idea.

Q & A

3 questions answered

  1. Hi, the video states 4Nm, 5Nm and 6Nm are torque settings are available. Is that correct or is this simply a 5Nm wrench?

    Asked by Steve (Edinburgh)

    1. Hello, I can confirm that this is supplied with a 5nm torque setting only, the video is referring to the different version of this, that is provided as a 4nm or 6nm. Kind Regards Liam

  2. Hi, I have a hi-mod cannondale synapse and I am looking for a torque wrench to tighten the seat post. Will this wrench have enough clearance from the seat post to tighten the screw on the frame?

Asked by Wooly (Esher, United Kingdom)

    1. Hi, Yes, this should work without issue, I've just taken a look at one we have in stock here and tested it on a few staff bikes and the torq sleeve that attaches to the handle would give you plenty of clearance from the frame. Kind regards, Nathaniel.

  3. Can you undo bolts with this tool without compromising the torque value?

    Asked by BPH (London)

    1. Hi, Yes, you can undo bolts without it compromising the torque settings on the torque sleeve. I hope this information is useful. Kind regards, Nathaniel.
