I swapped to this saddle after a few years using a Specialized Romin 3D saddle. The Romin has a hard plastic bit just below the shallow padded section at the rear of the saddle - which becomes very uncomfortable after a few hours of riding. By contrast, this saddle has a deeper rear section. After a couple of rides to break the saddle in, the Trek saddle is perfect - even on long rides.
No No No, what have you done? The origional Bontrager Aeolus Pro and Elite have been my go-to saddle for years. I have them on four of my most used bikes. Perfect shape, perfect support, great quality I thought I would upgrade to this new 3D printed model. What a mistake. 1. The shell is now far too soft, dare I say it saggy, compared to my originals. 2. What on earth is the advantage of 3D printed top, it is horrible. Does not appear to offer any comfort or compliance, probably why Trek have softened the shell so much. The surface is too grippy and abrasive, so not easy to micro-adjust your position naturally and will be sure to wear out your bibs shorts much quicker. I bought two, and being impatient fitted both, so not felt able to return as both have marks on the rails. Both have come off, and gone in the bits bin. I have put the original Bontrager Aeolus back on. The above is just my honest opinion of what was a superb saddle. I hope they havn't ruined the non-3DAirLoom models
