3T Cycling 3T Strada Due Frameset

When 3T released their original Strada frameset, it was a design project that showed the way in terms of what road bikes might look like in 5, 10 or 20 years time. Putting their trust in the simple functionality of the 1x groupset, and offering a range of aerodynamically efficient design innovations as well as clearance for wide, comfortable tyres, the Strada was a truly groundbreaking frameset design. The Strada Due frameset, meanwhile, takes all of those design innovations and complements them with the added versatility of 2x electronic groupsets.

As you'd expect from a frameset in this category, the Strada Due provides exceptional stiffness thanks to the unidirectional carbon fibre layup, while also coming in at a remarkably lightweight 1005 grams (frame only - in size medium). More unusual, however, is the comprehensive RealFast system integration that makes this bike one of the most aerodynamically efficient on the market. The rear wheel frame cutout, for example, is a feature usually reserved for out-and-out time trial machines, not road bikes, and encourages airflow to pass seamlessly over the frame. The included seatpost, meanwhile, is also aerodynamic in shape to further shave off precious seconds from your times.

The Strada Due, meanwhile, has also been optimised for use with wide tyres. Riding on wide 30mm tyres has the double benefit of providing a more comfortable, and more sustainable, riding experience to their thinner counterparts, but also offer lower rolling resistance. the frame is also compatible with flat-mount disc brakes for their added stopping power and all-weather performance. The result is a bike that is at home on any terrain that you might face, whether that be the pave of Paris-Roubaix or the slopes of an Alpine climb.

The Strada Due is compatible only with electronic groupsets - that's Shimano Di2, SRAM eTap or Campagnolo EPS.
