The Cervelo R5 Road Bike is legendary. From the limits-shattering R5CA to Wout van Aert’s win on Mont Ventoux, the R5 has defined Cervelo for over two decades. The latest R5 frame weighs just 949 grams and is stiff enough to perform at the very highest level, as proven by Pauline Ferrand-Prévot at this summer’s Tour de France Femmes.
Lightweight Cervelo R5 Frame
In size 56, the R5 tips the scales at just 651 grams for the frame and 298 grams for the fork, delivering the perfect balance of lightness and strength.
Cervelo Race-Ready Fit Geometry
Handling geometry remains almost unchanged, with only a minor bottom bracket adjustment to accommodate 29mm tyres. Fit geometry now matches the S5, ensuring an optimal riding position for fast group rides and racing.
Cervelo One-Piece Handlebar and Stem
The HB18 bar and stem save 150 grams and improve aerodynamics by two Watts. Inspired by the S5, this integrated design provides comfort, stiffness, and speed, making it ideal for long climbs and sprint finishes. All bar sizes remain fully UCI-legal.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
