Great unit, hasn't missed a beat. Can't really notice any difference from the T2800 model same slight jerkyness to the bearings for the freewheel. Works fantastic. Purchased due to Wahoo Core unit failing soon after purchase. This has provided excellent connectivity and no faff. Unit works great with Zwift. I pair it with a Ant+ dongle on the computer for speed/cadence/power and trainer function. ERG mode isn't quite as smooth as with a Wahoo I'm not sure if that's due to the flywheel difference or the way the Wahoo interoperates the data. Response time to ERG values is good and just about keeps up for short 10sec bursts when doing a training routine. It's always going to have a delay. 1-2 sec as it gets the info from the computer. I see no difference in this between this and the older version T2800. I also connect it to my Garmin watch to get VO2 max data etc from the watch. This works great as TDA data is classed as 3rd party with Garmin still so won't generate Vo2 data from a work out :( Suggestions for buyers Make sure you install the spacers for the freehub if you use a long cage rear derailleur. The arm will catch the tacx otherwise esp if you rock on the bike. Be careful how you store the power pack to prevent damage to the power pack connector that goes into the back of the unit. Tacx Desktop Application can be a nightmare but they are slowly making it better. Zwift is far better for instant use. Its pretty heavy (good for stability) and when folded up there's no carry handle for moving it so be careful it doesn't tip forward trapping your hand when you are moving it.

bought a couple of years ago as neighbor complained of noise from previous trainer, maybe was quieter for a few months but now much worse even when working at its best which is rare. Had one bolt broken / missing on delivery which unfortunately I didnt notice, not sure if related to later problems. To cut long nightmare story short now big scraping noise & mechanical resistance problem, web research suggests its a minority of the machines but by no means unique, related perhaps to small clearance between the moving permanent magnets and fixed electromagnets making tiny misalignment during manufacture or assembly a big problem. I've taken mine apart as much as I can and reassembled many times but can't fix it, tacx were bought by garmin who have no interest in fixing these machines. My feeling is that you are taking a significant risk in buying this, if it works it works well mostly (though note the long tacx playlist of neo noises) but if its a duff one god help you. Saving up to buy one of the competition in hope of better luck.
