I loved my old Radar and wouldn't ride with out, feel so safe on road knowing what is behind you, only regret is it took me so long to buy one. The camera addition is amazing, same radar safety, but great knowing that illegal unsafe overtakes are documented. I've had the light for 10 days and have submitted two police reports which the police confirmed they will followup / convict both.

Designed to look back whilst you focus on the road ahead, the Garmin Varia Radar RCT715 Rear Light combines a rearview radar, rear light and camera to enhance your safety. Bright and highly visible, the light itself is impossible to miss, helping safeguard the user when riding on busy roads. The camera is constantly rolling and automatically saves footage before and after it detects an incident.
It pairs seamlessly with the accompanying Varia mobile app, allowing for footage and camera settings to be accessed with ease. The rearview radar is a revelation, detecting approaching traffic up to 140 metres away and highlighting this to the user. To maximise battery life, three modes are available - always on, lights and radar only, or select a smart radar-activated mode, which activates the camera only when a car is approaching.

Have been using for the last 2 weeks and it is excellent in all departments i.e. construction, functions - light modes; radar and camera. Pairing with smartphone straight forward - audible warnings loud and clear. It is expensive and I'm trusting that the long term durability will be good - like most Garmin products.
