I’ve been using the Lazer Z1 MIPS for about a month now, mainly on solo rides in colder weather, and I’m really impressed. First thing you notice is how comfortable it is. It fits my head really well and doesn’t move around once it’s tightened. I can ride for a couple of hours and completely forget I’m wearing it, which is exactly what you want from a helmet. Even in cold conditions it’s been great — not too drafty, but still doesn’t feel stuffy once you warm up. It also works well with a cap underneath, which is a big plus for winter riding. The helmet feels light and well made, and the straps sit nicely without rubbing or needing constant adjustment. It’s also easy to put on and take off, even with gloves on. Overall, it just feels like a quality, well-designed helmet that does its job without any fuss. After a month of use, I’ve got no complaints at all and would happily recommend it.
