On paper they look great! strong alloy guards not plastic, stainless fixings etc. I did not fit them but understand from the shop (not sigma sport) that they were difficult to fit with no instructions and had to be modified to avoid a clash with the front mech. For a few months they worked very well with excellent wet weather protection, but alas not so good. 5-6 months on and both front and rear brackets have broken, where they join the guards to stays. This is my 3rd set of mudguards (different makes) in 18 months, dose anyone make a good strong mudguard that stands up to a daily commute?

Once the instructions were located online, a friend's engineering business was raided for grub screws and a surgeon buddy with a metal drill and a dremel multi tool were sourced, 2 man installation was relatively pain free for 2 experienced amateurs. OK, they're a nightmare to fit but once in place on a 2015 Diverge they are excellent - great coverage and no rubbing on 25 mm rubber on a big day out in the Yorkshire Moors soon after a downpour. Just know who is fitting them first and talk through concerns before they start.

Hi, I have the new Specialized Roubaix SL8 Comp, would these mud guards be compatible with this bike, thanks.
I have an SL8 Sport with the same frame as the comp, they don't fit. Brackets foul the frame and screws are the wrong size.
