Accurate sizing guidance can be gained by measuring the length of your feet from the back of the heel to the tip of the big toe. This measurement corresponds to the "CM" column in our size chart.
I’ve had Recon 3.0 shoes for a few years, and whilst they are good, it’s quite hard to get shoe covers over them in in winter. The Recon ADVs I think are even more comfortable, and they are much more like road shoes so a bit less stable for long walks, but lighter and easier to get shoe covers over. Bought on sale.
I really, really wanted to like these shoes. They seemingly had it all, they were foot shaped (unlike those from other manufacturers) they were lace up making multiple adjustments easy and Sigma had them in my size. While I don't take a wide fitting in any other footwear, not walking boots, running shoes or even normal every day shoes when it comes to cycling shoes you'd think that I had the widest feet of anyone ever to have placed a foot on a pedal. Sadly my search for a pair of cycling shoes that actually fit the feet of a normal human continues....
