Hi there, The Verse Short Pro has oversized carbon rails, so you'll need a seatpost with 7x10mm carbon-rail clamp ears, or one that uses a two-bolt seat clamp. Trek specifically warn against fitting these rails in a standard round-rail clamp, as a non-approved clamp can crack the rails.
