Zipp 858 NSW Carbon Rear Wheel 2025

Zipp’s 858 NSW Carbon Rear Wheel 2025 is built for maximum aerodynamic performance, using Total System Efficiency technology to overcome the main barriers to speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration loss.

With its hookless and tubeless rim design, the 858 NSW reduces weight while improving tyre integration. The deep 82mm to 85mm Sawtooth profile delivers exceptional aero efficiency and stability in crosswinds, making it ideal for triathlon, time trials and fast road efforts. The internal rim width of 23mm supports wider tyres at lower pressures for reduced rolling resistance and a more comfortable ride.

Despite its depth, the 858 NSW weighs similarly to shallower wheels, providing both aerodynamic advantage and climbing capability. Although optimised for tubeless tyres, the wheelset is also compatible with tubeless-ready clinchers and inner tubes. A 28mm tyre is recommended to maximise performance. At its core is the ZR1 SL hub, fitted with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement, ensuring smooth and responsive power delivery.
