Hours: 40 hours Monday-Friday
Reports to: Marketplace Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 with generous bonus incentives

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Business Developer to drive the commercial growth of our Marketplace by identifying, onboarding, and developing high-quality third-party sellers.
You’ll build strong partnerships with premium third-party sellers, ensuring every seller aligns with Sigma Sports’ customer promise and brand values. You’ll have a strong ability to embrace and utilise AI in your everyday tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Seller Growth & Business Development:
- Identify and recruit premium third-party sellers that strengthen our curated product range
- Pitch the Sigma Sports Marketplace proposition with confidence and credibility
- Negotiate commercial terms that drive sustainable growth and profitability
Onboarding:
- Lead end-to-end onboarding in partnership with internal teams to ensure smooth seller setup
- Support sellers from account creation through to first product listings and go-live readiness
- Ensure catalogue quality and integration standards are met (Mirakl experience ideal)
- Make sure sellers understand Sigma’s quality, service, and fulfilment expectations
- Improve ways of working, onboarding processes, and seller best practice documentation
About You:
We’re looking for someone commercially sharp, confident in front of partners, and motivated by winning new opportunities and growing revenue. You’re comfortable operating at pace, enjoy commercial conversations, and know how to turn relationships into results.
You’ll have:
- Experience in partnerships, e-commerce, marketplaces, or business development
- A strong commercial and sales mindset, with confidence pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
- Excellent communication and partner management skills, with the credibility to influence and challenge stakeholders
- A proactive, organised approach, able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Close attention to detail and pride in delivering a premium partner and customer experience
- Experience working with Mirakl marketplaces
- Passion for cycling, running, or swimming and premium consumer brands

- Maintain a clean, professional workspace.

- Report any concerns related to Health & Safety or employment regulations.
- Report any damage to company property promptly.
- Consider environmental impact in workflows and provide feedback for improvements.
- Comply with company policies on attendance, absence, and PPE requirements.
- Additional duties may be required within your capabilities.
