Make the most of the summer on two wheels with our Sigma Sports x Universal Colours Social Ride. Heading out on Saturday 9th July from the Sigma Sports Oakham store, we have joined forces with the guys from Universal Colours for this very special weekend spin.
Not just joining us for the ride, the cycle clothing experts will also be providing all those that register for the ride with a free pair of socks, bottles and a special discount code that can be used on the Sigma Sports website as well as in Sigma Sports stores. It doesn't end there though. They will also have you covered when it comes to post-ride coffee and refreshments, which will be supplied by local coffee connoisseurs Caffe Velo Verde.
Free to join, follow the link above to sign up for one of our two different groups leaving the store. Each ride will have a non-drop policy, with the focus of this ride being to meet new people and explore the local roads.
Both groups one and two will cover the same 44 kilometre route, which will do a lap of Rutland Water. After a steep climb out of Oakham, the groups will start descending towards Exton and will then ride into Great Casterton. From there the route takes the groups south to Ketton. The ride then traverses the bottom of Rutland Water, taking in the beautiful views, before approaching the final run in back to the Sigma Sports store via Preston and Brooke.

The ride will be split into two groups:
Group one will average 16-18mph and is ideal for those who are looking for a simple, social ride that'll get you home in time for lunch.
Group two will average 13-15mph, which is perfect for anyone new to the sport, or even for those who have been riding for a while but haven’t ridden in a group before and would like to gain a bit more experience.
