Njinga Cycling

Sigma Sports' Official Training Partner

Founded in 2012 with the vision of offering unrivalled training solutions to cyclists of all capabilities, Njinga has built an amazing community of riders all focussed on the same goal: results.

At Sigma Sports, we’re delighted to join that community as we welcome Njinga Cycling as our official training partner.

Njinga Kingston Shopfront

Local Community of Riders

Based a stone’s throw from our Hampton Wick store, Njinga’s state of the art Wattbike training and testing lab in Kingston was built to develop smarter, stronger and more confident riders. Their core objective was to not only revolutionise the way amateur road cyclists train, fuel and think about their training but to establish a client base that inspired, motivated and supported each other. This is further evidenced by the Njinga Collective; an inclusive, community-driven cycle club that allows road cyclists of all abilities to get out and ride in a safe and friendly environment.

Njinga Training Philosophy

Training Philosophy

Njinga’s training philosophy is best described by their simple formula;

Train Smart + Fuel Smart + Think Smart = Ride Smart.

By focusing on the finer details, Njinga helps their clients to ensure that all the small tweaks and enhancements to their training work together to create a fundamental shift in performance. By knowing your numbers, an effective plan can be followed so you can train in the correct zones and enjoy the sense of achievement associated with tracking your improvements. Time is precious, so the ethos of training smart aims to optimise the rider’s available time for the best results. Most riders won’t need to train more, just train smart.

"In the four years since I’ve been training with Njinga I’ve raced up to Ironman distance in triathlon, completed Ride 100 in a time of 4.35, qualified for the GB Age Group Teams in duathlon and triathlon and won bronze and silver medals at the World and European Duathlon Championships. Training at Njinga has been a significant contributory factor to these achievements and I can’t thank Togo and the team at Njinga enough." Jo Billings

"Since starting at Njinga my body has transformed, losing 20kgs, improving my FTP score by over 60 watts and achieving an all time peak power of 1949 watts. My enjoyment, my ability, my fitness and the whole cycling world has been transformed through smarter training. For me it has made me leaner, faster, happier, more relaxed and less stressed. Njinga can take you to whichever level of fitness you wish to achieve. An FTP of well over 300 seemed impossible when I started, I now want 345." Rich Porter

“The team at Njinga offer the whole package; fantastic indoor training, social rides, skills coaching, yoga and most of all great support, encouragement and camaraderie. For me, it was worth every penny and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Togo and Njinga to any cyclist.” Laura Sleightholme
