Pinarello Dogma F12
Bikes Built Your Way
One of the most exciting and distinguished bike brands on the market, Pinarello can boast a long and illustrious history when it comes to producing top-of-the-line road bikes. Their latest incarnation, the Dogma F12, follows this tradition. Whether you are tuning in to watch the Ineos Grenadiers battle it out on theirs on the slopes of the Giro d'Italia or spot a fully tricked out example at your local cafe, the Dogma F12 is a firm favourite for those looking for exceptional performance as well as an aesthetically stunning machine.
No corners cut, no expense spared, this fantastic example of the Italian brand's flagship model really is something to behold. In an Osium White colourway, this bike means business, with a full Shimano Dura-Ace R9170 Di2 11-speed groupset, ENVE Foundation Collection 45 Carbon Tubeless Disc wheelset and finishing kit from the likes of Arundel, Favero and Silca.
Pinarello Dogma F12 Frameset
However you choose to deck out your Dogma you are sure to experience the same engaging, comfortable and exciting ride. This is in no small part down to the frameset. Made using Torayca® T1100 1K DreamCarbon and paired with an ONDA F12 fork, the frameset shares many features, including geometry, with its predecessor the Dogma F10 but makes improvements with stiffness, with lateral stiffness increased by 10% around the bottom bracket.
The fork also had has had minor design adjustments made, working with the more aerodynamic frame to reduce overall drag by 7.3%. TiCR™ all internal cable routing keeps things looking tidy and is only further enhanced with the Pinarello E-Link system, which makes Shimano Di2 firmware updates and charging a breeze.
Shimano Dura-Ace R9170 Di2 Groupset
Gearing can make all the difference when it comes to enjoying your ride, so the decision to adorn this build with Shimano's flagship Dura-Ace R9170 Di2 groupset is undoubtedly a wise one. Although some purists may not be able to look past an Italian road bike not paired with a Campagnolo groupset, it is hard to argue with Shimano's pinpoint 11-speed shifting and ultra-reliable disc rotor setup.
Wheelset
As finishing touches go, a state-of-the-art wheelset is a sure-fire way to turn heads and ENVE are experts when it comes to delivering in this sector. Part of their Foundation Collection, which differs from the SES range when it comes to consistent rim depths, front and rear, the 45 Carbon Tubeless Disc wheelset features a 45-millimetre rim and Instant Drive 360 technology (ID360) on the freehub. This provides a fast ride when cutting through the wind and when engaging the power. Optimised for 25 or 28c tyres, this configuration works perfectly with the Dogma's 28c maximum tyre clearance.
Finish Touches
Finishing touches can catapult a bike from good to dream bike status and should never be ignored. Pushing the boat out when it comes to some of the most desirable components around, the lucky owner of this Dogma F12 opted to hydrate in style with Arundel's DTR (Down Tube Right Side Entry) Mandible SideLoader Bottle Cages. Gloss black carbon, these really pop next to the MOST Talon Ultra 1k Integrated Aero Road Handlebar. A 750 gram handlebar and stem integrated design, the premium addition has been complemented by Silca Nastro Piloti bar tape to provide a plush cockpit.
Looks and functionality aside, performance plays a big part in the build, with the inclusion of Favero Assioma UNO Single-Sided Power Meter pedals and a cutting edge Specialized S-Works Power Mirror saddle. The power meter pedals are favourites for those looking for an accurate training partner which can easily be swapped between bikes and used with a wide range of ANT+ bike computers.
Specialized, although traditionally a bike manufacturer has also long been a trusted producer of saddles and the Power range is among the most popular. A shorter nose and carefully placed padding make this an aggressive choice, and this S-Works, mirror version also offers carbon fibre rails and a 3D printed construction that is tuneable to the rider's position.
A true Grand Tour-worthy rig, we are incredibly proud to hand this stunning road bike over to its new owner. Want to build your dream Pinarello or are you interested in a fully built example? Explore the Pinarello range.
