Description

Abbey Bike Tools Lever Setter

The Abbey Bike Tools Lever Setter offers a precise and professional solution for levelling gear and brake levers, working in combination with the brand’s Hanger Alignment Gauge. Designed to eliminate guesswork and improvised methods, it ensures hoods are perfectly aligned before bar tape is applied.

Threading directly into the headset in place of the top cap, the tool features a corresponding thread that allows the Hanger Alignment Gauge to be attached. This enables accurate comparison of left and right lever positions, taking into account variances in bar shape and bend. Ideal for workshop builds or home fitting, it ensures consistent braking comfort and a cleaner overall setup.

Compact, lightweight and carefully machined, the Lever Setter is a refined tool that brings precision and simplicity to an often-overlooked part of the bike fit process.

Features

  • Gives your Hanger Alignment Gauge a secondary use
  • Designed to work with Abbey Bike Tools' HAG, compatible with most hanger alignment tools
  • Premium fit and finish, simple and effective to use, delivers accurate measurements
  • Works with both road and mountain bike shifters and brake levers
  • Offers a great reference point to achieve preferred lever position on multiple bikes
  • Will save time for builders or fitters when bleeding brakes/trimming bars
  • Requires a star nut or compression plug with M6 x 1 thread
  • Best used with a spacer on top of the stem to help align setter with the steerer tube
  • Made in Bend, Oregon
