Bell Super DH MIPS MTB Helmet
Providing brilliant protection for the most extreme course, Bell’s Super DH MIPS Helmet is both very safe and supremely comfortable. The welcome inclusion of MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) Spherical means that the head and brain are better protected from shearing forces in the event of an oblique blow as it allows the helmet to move around the head without applying any force. Bell’s Float Fit DH with Fidlock Buckle fastening system secures the helmet and uses an easy to adjust dial for the perfect fit.
From a comfort point of view, there are nineteen helmet vents, two brow ports and four chin bar vents to ensure a cooling flow of air through the helmet at all times, and the X-Static padded interior will keep nasty smells at bay. The chin bar can be removed for extra ventilation when grinding uphill for the next run down and the GoggleGuide adjustable visor gives somewhere to stash eyewear when not needed. An integrated camera mount keeps things neat and tidy and features a breakaway function so that it doesn’t catch on anything in a crash.

- Progressive Layering utilising two layers of foam: a hard layer against the outer shell closer to the point of potential impact, and a less dense layer closer to the head. Each layer has a thin hard shell moulded into it

- Overbrow Ventilation features intake ports on the brow of the helmet to usher in cool air and push it through the air-channel matrix for full-head ventilation
