The C-Bear T47 86mm Ceramic Bottom Bracket is the race-day upgrade for any T47 threaded frame. Replacing the stock bearings with sealed ceramic units delivers a low-friction, creak-free interface between crank and frame. Best suited to dry road conditions where the seal can prioritise smoothness over grit protection. For road racers chasing every watt, the T47 ceramic upgrade is a small change that compounds over distance.
Construction & Materials
Each cup is CNC machined from solid aluminium to the precision tolerances required by the T47 thread, then paired with a sealed C-Bear ceramic bearing. The ceramic running surfaces are harder and smoother than steel - the result is lower rolling resistance, less heat build-up and a longer service life than standard steel-bearing units.
Compatibility
Fits any frameset with a T47 86mm threaded shell. Three spindle-compatibility options cover the major road crankset standards: Shimano Hollowtech II (24mm), SRAM DUB (28.99mm) and Rotor / FSA (30mm). Select the variant that matches your existing crankset. Installation requires a T47 external bottom bracket tool.
