Designed purely around power, the Ultra-Torque axle is composed of self-centring and self-aligning frontal teeth that connect at the centre of the bottom bracket, due to this unique design, Campagnolo is able to produce a chainset that is lightweight with enhanced rigidity for higher power transfers. Enabling a reduction of the lateral dimension of the axle, the bottom bracket bearings can be positioned on the outer bracket shell ensuring a sleeker, firmer crankset that will propel you from start to end.

With its design inherited from higher-end models, the Centaur has obtained a four arm design constructed out of aluminium.
