The new Shamal Ultra C17 maintains the exceptional performance that has established it as the premier aluminium race wheel for nearly two decades, while introducing enhanced versatility and performance.

Its wider profile, adhering to the C17 standard, is perfectly suited for the increasingly popular 25/28mm tyre sizes. This updated rim/tyre interface not only proves to be more aerodynamic compared to the same size tyres paired with a C15 rim but also provides a more secure grip and increased comfort. Additionally, the wider stance and optimized material usage contribute to heightened rigidity and responsiveness.

Equipped with USB Bearings, featuring ceramic components, the wheel significantly reduces weight and improves bearing smoothness. The ceramic ball bearings also reduce maintenance requirements and offer greater resistance to corrosion compared to standard bearings.

The Mega-G3 Spoke pattern enhances energy transfer between the hub, reducing stress on the right-hand side and enhancing wheel rigidity by doubling the number of spokes on that side compared to the left-hand side.

With the 2-Way Fit option, users have the flexibility to choose between tubeless or clincher tyres. This allows Campagnolo(R) customers to experiment and determine which option best suits their preferences, or to utilise clincher tyres for training and switch to tubeless tyres for race day. In the event of a puncture with a tubeless tyre, the Campagnolo 2-Way Fit system permits the use of a traditional inner tube by simply removing the hermetic closure valve for a safe journey home.
