Two decades ago, Cannondale revolutionised endurance road cycling with the original Synapse, offering a perfect balance between aggressive race geometry and relaxed comfort bikes. Now in its sixth generation, the Synapse Carbon Road Bike continues to lead the category, featuring a sub-1150g carbon frame, wind tunnel-optimised tube profiles, and industry-leading stiffness-to-weight ratios.

With 20% more compliance than the previous model, the new Synapse enhances comfort without compromising efficiency. Proportional Response Construction delivers size-specific performance, while refined details such as the StashPort downtube storage system, hidden top tube bag mounts, and wide tyre clearance underscore its versatility.

A new carbon layup reduces weight, maintaining Synapse’s trademark durability and ride feel. The D-shaped seatpost boosts aerodynamic performance and vertical compliance, while Cannondale’s Delta Steerer system allows for fully internal cable routing and reduces drag.

With clearance for up to 48 mm front and 42 mm rear tyres, the Synapse is built to tackle long distances and varied terrain. Integrated storage and a connected wheel sensor round out this performance-ready endurance platform.
