Cannondale Synapse Carbon 4 Road Bike

Cannondale’s Synapse changed the road cycling landscape 20 years ago, offering a lighter, more responsive bike that didn’t sacrifice comfort. Today, the sixth-generation Synapse Carbon Road Bike continues that tradition, with a completely reimagined frame designed for long-distance riders who demand both speed and stability.

Lighter than ever, the new frame weighs under 1150 grams thanks to a high-performance carbon layup that shaves weight without compromising stiffness or durability. A 20% boost in compliance ensures a smoother ride, while the D-shaped seatpost and Delta Steerer system enhance aerodynamics and comfort.

With space for up to 48 mm tyres at the front and 42 mm at the rear, the Synapse is built to explore everything from smooth tarmac to broken backroads. Hidden mounts for a top tube bag, the integrated StashPort tool storage system.

What a bike and what a fantastic service from the team at Sigma. I have a Supersix Evo but for myself at 63 this is as fast and more comfortable. I can pack all the spares in the storage and not a saddle bag in sight, don’t even mention the jersey pockets. The bike is not standard as I upgraded the wheels to Reserve 40/44, which are fabulous as well as the discs and bottom bracket to ultegra. All this was done by the team at Sigma, Joe who took the order and Zane at Oakham have been superb, thanks.
