DT Swiss ARC 1100 DICUT WTS 85 Carbon Wheelset

The second generation ARC wheels are already proven at the highest levels of professional road and triathlon racing. The third generation DT Swiss ARC 1100 DICUT WTS 85 Carbon Wheelset builds on this legacy, using a fully proprietary carbon rim developed with the Aero research team at Swiss Side and extensively tested at the GST wind tunnel in Germany.

DT Swiss 1100 DICUT Rim Design and Construction

The new rim features a 22 mm internal width optimised for 28-30 mm tyres in a unique hybrid V-shape, allowing deeper rims while providing superior crosswind stability compared to previous shallower designs. It also benefits from DT's in-house carbon manufacturing advancements, with a refined carbon lay-up and perfect 'out of the mold' finish requiring no additional cosmetic veneer. Every rim is internally scanned so each layer of carbon can be inspected prior to assembly, resulting in a weight saving of up to 158 grams per pair versus the previous generation despite being both wider and deeper.

DT Swiss 1100 DICUT Hub and Spokes

The wheelset features DICUT 180 hubs with 36-tooth Ratchet EXP and SiNC ceramic bearings, offering lightweight, simple, low-drag hubs that remain as reliable and easy to service as the legendary 240. Ongoing research by DT and Swiss Side into rotational drag and its effect on performance has produced the premium Aerolite II spokes used throughout the wheelset.

DT Swiss 1100 DICUT Wheel Tyre System

The front wheel comes ready for 12 x 100 mm thru axles, and the rear comes ready for 12 x 142 mm thru axles. The maximum recommended system weight is 110 kg. The wheelset comes with a DT-developed Continental Aero 111 front tyre and GP 5000 STR rear tyre. It also includes high-performance TPU tubes, wheel bags, tubeless rim tape, and lightweight tubeless valves. Also iclude both Shimano Road and SRAM XDR freehubs.
