When the temperature is fixed in single digits and the rain looks set to stay, Endura’s 3-Layer Pro SL Shell II Jacket provides the kind of robust protection that makes riding possible. By combining the highly waterproof ExoShell40 fabric with waterproof stretch shoulder, side and cuff panels, the jacket is close-fitting yet unrestrictive in the riding position. As well as using a fully waterproof fabric, all the seams are taped and the exterior treated with PFC-Free, non-toxic durable water repellent finish for complete protection. The extended rear collar provides welcome coverage to the back of the neck against cold winds and wet drips.

Whilst the jacket can be packed down into a jersey pocket, it's really meant for wearing from door to door in cold, wet weather. As such, access is provided via two zipped slits to the underlying jersey pockets for tools or nutrition, leaving just a small gel pocket on the outside of the jacket. Large reflective strips add the kind of visibility required on dull, damp days.
