Enduro BSA XD15 Ceramic - DUB 29mm Bottom Bracket
The BSA Thread-In bottom bracket is designed for 68mm BSA frames and uses Ceramic-Hybrid XD-15 15° angular contact bearings set in precision machined aluminium cups that thread directly into the frame. These bearings use deep-groove raceways with maximum-sized Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls for improved contact, performance and longevity. This bottom bracket enables easy installation of Shimano-type 24mm cranks into BSA threaded shells.
Enduro XD-15 Bearings
Manufactured in California, the XD-15 bearings combine cryogenically treated, corrosion-proof nitrogen steel races with Silicon Nitride ceramic balls. Developed to deliver long-lasting performance, these bearings are backed by an unlimited lifetime bearing and race warranty. They offer smooth rolling efficiency and are designed to withstand harsh conditions without degradation.
Unlike conventional ceramic-hybrid bearings, XD-15 bearings improve with use. As they wear in, the ceramic balls polish the races for smoother performance. They offer the same speed and efficiency advantages from day one as other premium bearings but continue to get faster and smoother over time, while others slow down with wear.
