The Garmin Edge Explore GPS Enabled Bike Computer is perfect for touring and is packed with features to keep you on track and keep you connected. The three-inch touchscreen is visible even in the brightest sunshine and is glove and rain-friendly so you'll never lose functionality.
Simple to set up, this computer is ready to go straight out of the box. Pre-loaded with the Garmin Cycle Map, with routes generated by Trendline popularity routing, you can see where the locals like to ride and utilise their knowledge. Turn-by-turn directions allow you to concentrate on your ride and if you deviate from the route or want to head home early, the Edge will guide you back to the start.
For increased cycling awareness, you can pair this computer with the Varia™ line of cycling devices (purchased separately). The Rearview Radar alerts you to drivers approaching from behind so you can see everything around you and be seen by other road users. Built-in incident detection sends your location to an emergency contact when paired with a compatible Smartphone.
You can keep your phone safely in your pocket thanks to smart connections. Activities can be uploaded automatically to Garmin Connect, and features including LiveTrack, GroupTrack and rider-to-rider messaging ensuring you can keep in touch when needed.
