Description

Praxis Works Shimano Bottom Bracket - T47 - 68/73mm

The Praxis Works Shimano Hollowtech II Bottom Bracket T47 is engineered to provide a precise and reliable solution for fitting Shimano Hollowtech II cranks into BB30, PF30, or Specialized OSBB road frames. Unlike traditional conversion bottom brackets, this innovative system keeps the cartridge bearings outboard of the frame, exactly to Shimano's specification, enhancing rigidity and eliminating common issues with frame and c-clip tolerances that other systems often encounter.

Installation is quick and secure: simply press in the longer non-drive side cup, then thread the shorter drive side cup into it. As it tightens, Praxis’s patented Collet system expands to an exact tolerance, evenly distributing pressure for a firm, creak-free fit. With both cups mechanically connected and set precisely to spec, bearing alignment is locked in—no shifting, no walking. An integrated compressible O-ring on the non-drive side also compensates for minor frame shell width variations, ensuring a seamless fit every time. Ideal for riders seeking enhanced performance and reliability in their bottom bracket setup.
