The Roval Alpinist Carbon Seatpost is about as light as they come, at just 136 grams (27.2mm x 300mm). There's plenty of adjustment in the 2-bolt micro-adjust clamp, so offset can be set between 0mm and 20mm, allowing you to dial-in an optimised fit and setback is 12mm for both sizes. Upgrade to this seatpost for incredible ride quality, more speed and improved acceleration.
It's a seat post. It holds my saddle onto the bike. It does its job. It did set me back £205 which was a bit of a shock. I'm mainly only writing this review to stop the weekly reminders to write a review, which are a bit annoying. I do hope I win £50.
A lot of dosh, for what it is. Looks okay, and guess it’s pretty light. My 360mm long weight 157g Didn’t make a harsh bike any less harsh. Expensive mistake. Sold it on and replaced it with an Ergon CF Allroad. 100g heavier but turns a harsh bike into dream bike. One tip. Try not to undo the front bolt too much when mounting the saddle, otherwise the minimalist design manifests itself. The threaded nut isn’t captive in the carbon head and drops into your frame. Then a proper faf to hold in position to get it started back on the thread. Tip. One end of the threaded nut section has a recess. Use a 6mm HEX key to hold it in place to get the front bolt back on the thread.
