Have had a few 100 km rides with this saddle now (having used a Fizik Antares R3 before) and it's defiantly one of the best I've ridden. The saddle was a lot firmer than I expected but the key difference is that it has more give in some places, while the area under the sitbones offers the most support. Once set up properly I've found this gave just the right level of comfort without feeling too squishy or getting uncomfortable. It seems to absorb a lot more of the road 'noise' as well. The only slight issue (other than the price!) is that it's REALLY grippy, so if you like to slide back and forth to change position it's not as easy to do so as smoother saddles. It holds you in place a lot more. It's certainly an expensive bit of kit but I'm finding it worth the cost.

Based around the pro-favourite Romin saddle profile and with a flex-tuned FACT carbon base, comfort-inspired foundations for this saddle are already laid. Atop the carbon base, the plush, 3D printed Mirror padding uses 22000 individual struts to grant personalised levels of cushioning, evenly distributing pressure across the sit bones for a pain-free ride.
The Mirror padding incorporates a broad and deep ergonomic central channel to help protect the rider’s sensitive blood vessels and nerves routed through the perineum. Additionally, this cutout shifts weight onto the pubic rami bone structure, creating more support for the rider when pedalling output is at its maximum.
A 26cm long profile with a slight ramp at the rear section allows riders to comfortably scoot forward when hammering the pace in an aerodynamic riding position but provides increased stability when riding tempo on enduring mountain passes. The design is completed with 7x9mm FACT carbon rails that are strong, light and effectively damp vibrations from harsh road surfaces.

S works Romin Best saddle ever! For comfort and positioning. Everyone is different I know and for me I’ve found it very difficult to just find the right saddle. After a bike fit and Saddle fit with Salvo at Sigma he let me try the Romin. A few tweaks and finally I’m in comfort for long days in the saddle. Looks great too. Worth the money if you’re going to spend hours out on the road.
