Rule 28 UCI Aero Overshoes
Rule 28's UCI Aero Overshoes are ideal for riders competing under UCI rules. In the brand's independent product testing, Rule 28 found that these overshoes provided a saving of between 6.0W at 45kph, up to 12.0W at 55kph. These overshoes smooth the transition between shoe and leg, enclosing the heel cup to reduce drag, and feature a new and improved low-profile toe box.
Unsure if aero socks or aero overshoes are a better choice? If you're after pure speed, opt for Rule 28's UCI Aero Overshoes. If you are racing in hot conditions, please be aware that the shoe cover sections of these overshoes are not breathable.
The enclosed heel cup of these overshoes provides excellent aero savings, but means that walking in overshoes should be kept to an absolute minimum and never on rough surfaces to avoid damaging them.
