If you look after your chain, I find the Shimano Cassettes wear well. 9000 miles on the previous one, hope this one lasts as well. 34T is handy for the occasional hill whilest on a 36/52, not as young as i used to be.

Shimano 105 HG700 11-Speed Bike Cassette 11-34T
Two Cassettes On This Page
Shimano builds the 105 R7000 groupset's cassette range across two model codes. The CS-R7000 covers the standard road ratios, while the wide-range 11-34 option is the CS-HG700 - a cassette Shimano lists within the same 105 R7000 series. They share construction and shift quality; the differences are gear range and freehub compatibility. Your gear range selection determines which model you receive.
Shimano 105 CS-R7000 (11-25, 11-28, 11-30, 11-32)
The 105-branded 11-speed road cassette. Nickel-plated steel sprockets are carried on aluminium spider arms to cut weight without sacrificing durability, secured by a steel lock ring. Hyperglide tooth profiling delivers fast, accurate shifts under load. Fits Shimano HG 11-speed road freehub bodies and pairs with Shimano 11-speed road groupsets - 105, Ultegra and Dura-Ace. Claimed weights: 269g (close-ratio), 284g (11-28), 304g (11-30), 320g (11-32). Choose 11-25 for racing and fast flat terrain, 11-28 for all-round road riding, 11-30 or 11-32 for hillier routes.
Shimano CS-HG700 (11-34)
The widest-range option in the 105 R7000 cassette line-up, with an 11-13-15-17-19-21-23-25-27-30-34T spread for steep climbs and loaded riding. Same nickel-plated steel sprockets, aluminium spider carriers and steel lock ring as the CS-R7000, at a claimed 379g. Its distinguishing feature is freehub flexibility: it mounts to 10-speed road freehub bodies directly, or to 11-speed road freehubs using the included 1.85mm spacer - making it the route to 11-speed gearing on many older wheelsets. Requires a medium-cage (GS) rear derailleur to handle the 34T sprocket.
Which One Do You Need?
Riding mostly flat to rolling terrain on an 11-speed road wheelset: choose a CS-R7000 ratio (11-25 through 11-32). Tackling steep gradients, touring loaded, or fitting 11-speed to a wheelset with a 10-speed freehub body: choose the 11-34 CS-HG700. Shift performance is equivalent across both models.

About Shimano
Shifting the way the world rides.
From a single Osaka workshop in 1921, Shimano has grown into the world's most influential component maker. The brand's relentless engineering — Dura-Ace, Ultegra, GRX, XTR — has shaped the way the world shifts, brakes and rides, on the road and off it.
Shimano's flagship groupset, Dura-Ace, has been the benchmark for top-level road components for more than five decades. Every refinement that lands on Dura-Ace eventually shapes the entire Shimano range, all the way down to entry-level drivetrains.
