This Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 Di2 Right Front Lever and Hydraulic Disc Caliper set boasts top of the range gear change and brake performance. The ergonomically shaped lever hood grants a myriad of hand positions and encases the hardware that communicates wireless gear shift signals to the derailleurs. Easily operated buttons on the side of the lever activate the gear changes, and while this right-hand unit usually controls the rear derailleur, its function can be fully customised via the E-TUBE app. The wireless gear change signal is powered by just one small CR1632 battery that lasts for up to two years and SD300 wire ports are included so that satellite shifters can be installed
The carbon lever smoothly actuates the hydraulic brake caliper via Servo Wave technology, and its reach can be adjusted to suit different hand sizes. The brake caliper is easy to install, and its one-piece construction offers rigidity and keeps the weight to a minimum. Oversized pistons grant even power and operate with 10% extra spacing to help reduce brake drag. Refined bleed port, valve screw and hose routing designs on the caliper ease the brake bleeding procedure, cutting workshop time for professional and home mechanics alike.
