The Shimano FD5800 105 11 Speed Band On Front Derailleur Double is the latest 11-speed system from the Japanese component experts. Affordable, easy to install and offering smooth gear changes, the front derailleur is a wide link design. This design improves stiffness and results in excellent, fast shifting, especially when putting the power down.
This derailleur is only compatible with 105 ST-5800 or Ultegra ST-6800 shifters and features a long pull arm. The long pull arm provides a light spring action, so in essence means shifting requires less effort.
A versatile front derailleur, the FD5800 11 Speed Band On Front Derailleur Double has a 16 tooth maximum capacity and works with outer rings ranging from 46 to 53 teeth.
The aluminium parts are coated in a special corrosion resistant treatment, this means the derailleur will always look like new and will extend its life.
