Seamlessly integrating with all of Shimano's 11-speed road gear setups, the SL-RS700 uses Instant Release and Multi Release technology to grant super fast gear shifts that can be actuated across multiple gears in one sweep of the lever. The design lowers the lever friction during gear shifts to give a fatigue-reducing, short-stroke action. The 2-Way release feature allows the upper lever to be released by the thumb or index finger, depending on rider preference.
A handy barrel adjuster provides precise gear adjustment, and the lever's I-Spec-II compatibility means that it neatly links with a brake lever via one handlebar clamp. An easy to read optical gear display ensures that the correct gear will always be selected, no matter the terrain.
