It is fast-rolling, comfortable and strong whilst still being light and reliable. Wider tyres are well supported by the rim’s 21.6mm internal width, which also ensures that maximum air volume is achieved for better comfort and grip. The rim is tubeless-ready so can be run easily without an inner tube for even more puncture resistance and lower pressures. Shimano’s angular contact bearings are great for home maintenance, being easy to adjust and service to keep the wheel running smoothly for longer, and the detritus of gravel riding is kept at bay by their Labyrinth seals.
