Shimano XTR 12-speed Rear Derailleur SGS Long Cage
The XTR 12-speed SGS Long Cage Rear Derailleur is the pinnacle of Shimano’s mechanical off-road groupset range. It combines low weight with unrivalled performance and a number of clever features. The direct cable routing prevents any snagging and the combination of carbon and alloy in the cage construction balances weight with stiffness for optimum performance. The chain stabilising switch controls the derailleur on rough ground to prevent chain slap and keep the drivetrain quiet, an aim that is furthered by the use of a rubber bumper on the pulley cage. Oversized pulley wheels with sealed bearings increase durability and shifting accuracy.
