There really is no reason not to own an adjustable seatpost with the updated Specialized Command Post IRCC 30.9x310mm 75mm Travel Seatpost has been updated and is now better than ever.

The slight weight penalty of an adjustable seatpost pales into insignificance when you consider the practicality of such an item. Some even rate this invention as the biggest thing in mountain biking since tubeless tyres.

The big update for this year is the internally routed cruise control (IRcc). This now gives you an improved ten micro-adjustable positions. Simply use the lever when your weight is on the saddle, then release the lever when you have achieved your preferred height, and it positively engages into place with the patented mechanical locking system.

When returning your saddle to full height, the air valve under the seat clamp, allows you to control the speed at which this occurs. So fear not the unfortunate experience of your saddle rocketing back up at you!

Any fears of durability can be put aside with the energised triple-lip wiper preventing contamination and the durable zero-gap, dual-lip x-ring internal seal ensuring lasting durability.

Saddle mounting is perfectly handled by the bonded lightweight aluminium micro-adjustable “alien” style head with dual-keyway system eliminates saddle wiggle.

This is the 310 mm version with 75 mm of travel, but there is also a 380 mm version featuring 100 mm of travel. Both come with the SRL and grip mounted remote levers, so you can go with your preferred option.
