The short length insulates the core, leaving the lower legs to rest on something else such as a rucksack or spare clothes. This allows it to have a tiny pack size and ultra-low weight. Comfort and performance are still in abundance though, thanks to the Triangular Core Matrix that reduces heat loss by convection by reducing air movement within the mattress. Inflation is easy using the pump bag and WingLock valve, or lung power can be employed instead if preferred.
